The band

Nothing fancy, just straight up heavy

Descarado is a four-piece stoner and fuzz rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden, playing together since 2013.

Big riffs, bluesy solos and a desert rock groove that critics have compared to the Californian scene, with a little punk energy and a lot of fuzz on top.

After a self-titled debut EP, the 2016 album Odd and a run of singles including The Smokeman Singles (2021), the band returns with Norm: ten songs recorded at True Grit Garage and in the Högsbo industrial area of Gothenburg. The album is self-produced, mixed by Niklas Linderås and mastered by Kalle Lilja at Welfare Sounds, with cover art by John Uno.

Norm is out on vinyl and streaming via Rawflot Records on 4 December 2026, led by the single A Little Fun (To Keep Us Going) on 13 November.

12 inputs · 4 monitor mixes · 1 vocal

We are an easy band to work with. Four people, one vocal mic, quick changeovers and happy to fit in with whatever the stage has. If something on this sheet is a problem, just let us know and we will sort it.

How the drums are miked is up to the engineer on the night. Fewer channels is fine.

Backline

Drums: happy to share the house kit. We bring our own snare, cymbals and kick pedal. Two rack toms and a floor tom is ideal, one rack tom is fine.

Bass and guitar: we bring our own amp heads. We need one bass cab and one guitar cab on site.

Monitors

One wedge per member, four separate mixes. Mix 1 Bob, mix 2 Drev, mix 3 Uno, mix 4 Bro. Vocal in every mix, details at soundcheck.

Power

230 V at the bass amp, at the guitar amp and at the guitar pedalboard.

Times

Soundcheck takes 30 minutes at most, often less. Line check works too. Set length 30 to 60 minutes.

Hospitality

Water on stage and a meal for four. One member is gluten intolerant, so please make one meal gluten free. No other allergies.
